"Any Port in a Storm" - our Port Pop Up last night was lots of fun! It was a short notice, by invitation only through our robust database and we sold out and everyone showed up! Plus attendees enjoyed tasting new to them Ports, and discovering cocktail ideas with both the White and Pink ports! A Perfect Storm! oh, we we did sell a few bottles....................
It was a delight having Cynthia Opsal, Fladgate Partnership Brand Manager Western Canada and Curtis Bawden from Pacific Wine & Spirits there to discuss and pour the Taylor Fladgate, Croft and Fonseca line up.
What cocktails can you make with Port you ask?
White Port Cocktail - delicious as an Aperitif drink, or on a hot summer afternoon!
1-2oz Taylor Fladgate White Port
2 oz Good Tonic Water
Top up with Perrier
Garnish with Ice, Lemon and sprig of Mint
Pink Port & Prosecco
1 oz Croft Pink Port
Top up with Prosecco in a pretty flute glass
Voila! Festive, celebratory, or just because you're worth it!
